Vaginal Odor

Question

Is it normal to have your vaginal odor go through your jeans/shorts/leggings? I can always smell myself and I’m pretty sure if someone is near me when I open my legs can smell. I’m so insecure about this. The smell is not bad but I just don’t understand why I can smell through my underwear and pants. It’s really concerning as I don’t know if this is normal. If it’s not what can I do? I will say since i’ve gained a lot of weight I sweat a lot more and I find my private area sweating more and this is probably the only reason I can find.. or maybe my diet. Ugh, i need help. I’m so insecure and try to keep my legs closed most of the time now.

Could be linked to many reasons : bacterial infection, not shaving down there, using soaps or other things down there that are throwing off your ph balance, not wiping front to back, the types of underwear  . Is there a discharge? Def talk to your doctor but also try lume after you shower and when you do shower don't use soap down there just clean with water, pat dry and try lume . It works and keep lume in your bathroom so when you wipe , put a dab on the tissue and wipe with that addition. I used to always get bacterial infections from using soap down there. It was throwing off my ph and the gyno would give me a antibiotic that would help..it never got strong down there like that where you could smell me but like i said I would get bacteria infections and when you said you get moist down there that's what it sounds like because that should only happen when you are ovulating or "excited"
