it's silly, but I got a question

okay so not long ago, my boyfriend of 6 months broke up with me. it wasn't that long we dated for, but it meant a lot to us because it was long distance. (keep in mind we're 16) so he flew out here twice; once in August and once in October, and in November, he broke up with me all of a sudden. he said he wanted to still be friends and seemed pretty happy, but ever since then he ignores me, never calls or texts, and he never makes the first effort (it's always me and now i've given up). so do you guys think he's maybe moved on, or maybe he's in regret..? i don't get how boys seem to deal with breakups so easily
