Would you feel bad?

Due to not having a place to live together for now (with our baby!) I’m with my parents and husband comes and visits almost every day and stays the weekend to sleep.

Today I got my period and I’m super bummed and crushing because it’s the day he stays over and of course had to happen today.

So I told him we can try Anal (did it last week and finally it wasn’t too painful) but idk I just feel bad that the day he’s gonna stay I’ll be on my period I feel like 💩.

Honestly, don't feel bad. He should understand you getting a period. You don't have to "make it up to him". And if he makes you feel guilty that's a whole problem itself. Do whatever you're comfortable with.

I don't get the 'what do you do for your man when you're on your period' posts.
If men were on their periods, the last thing they would be thinking about is sexually pleasing their partner, and rightfully so. I mean, some men don't even want to use condoms because they're 'uncomfortable'. He will survive the one week 🙄

No. That’s just life. I don’t owe my bf sex so if I don’t feel like it for whatever reason, even if it’s the only time we can do it for a while, then it is what it is.

Why do you have to make it up to him? Can he not wait one week? Is he staying on the weekend only to have sex or to spend quality time with his wife and child? This seems super strange to me.

Don’t do anything that makes you uncomfortable sweetie. If you’re experiencing pain and discomfort, then it’s probably not best for you to continue doing it. Just because he’s coming to stay over, doesn’t mean you have to have sex. If you want a blow job or just a cuddle and sleep and talk. It’s not mandatory that he has sex. Don’t feel guilty, everybody gets a cycle unless you’re in menopause. I’m sure you’re not his first girlfriend, and I’m sure he’s dealt with women on their cycle before. I’m sure he’ll be understanding and if he’s not then you got a bigger problem than just being on your period.

You do you. If you wanna “make it up him” go for it. If you’re not in the mood, don’t do it. You shouldn’t have to feel obligated to do anything if you don’t want to. And he should be more than respectful of that.
