Half of nah?

Question

Okay dumb question, if you were born in America, but your biological father is from Ghana and mom is American, would that make me half Ghanaian? Or just full American?

nationality wise  you’re a american by law but doesn’t hurt to learn about your dads culture ethincity wise you’d be half and half whatever your mom is and your dad

There's no right or wrong answer. I'm more of the belief that if you embrace your heritage and culture, you can call yourself that. Like, I'm born and raised in California but my parents are from Mexico. I am embracing my culture by learning Nahuatl, learning the dances and just about finished learning ceremonial aspects and the calendar. To many native and first nation peoples, helping your community and engaging is more important than your percentage. Learn about your history, culture, etc. I have a friend with Ghanaian children and they share a great deal of what life is like for them, it's a beautiful culture.
