Would this bother you?

My partner went on a night out last night and bumped into an old friend.

Cut a long story short, this friend is also friends with his sister who my partner doesn’t speak to. None of the family speak to her due to many reasons that I won’t go into, but let’s just say she’s not a very nice person.

I just found out I’m pregnant and my partner decided he wasn’t going to tell his sister as he doesn’t want her part of the babies life.

I haven’t told my family yet, only my parents as I’ve had previous miscarriages and want to wait till my scan to tell everyone. My partner being drunk last night decided to tell this friend I was pregnant and she kept going on about his sister asking how she’ll feel when she finds out, he told her not to say anything and she’s sworn not to. But let’s be real, their friends of course she’s gonna tell her. I’m not happy at all, my family don’t even know and now this friend knows and his nasty peace of work sister who will now try and stir everything and make it about her.
