Did pregnancy feel lonely?

Just as the title says, I'm mostly curious to know other womens experience during pregnancy. I'm just feeling really lonely. Its like as soon as I became pregnant I lost my identity and all people care about is the baby I'm growing. Its all anyone wants to talk to me about is the baby. I just... feel less like a person and more like an incubator..? I tried to explain to my fiance last night how I felt but he was tired and he falls asleep when I talk to him in bed because my voice is very soft and "soothing", regardless of what I'm talking about.

For me pregnancy was very isolating with my two toddlers. Both pregnancies I was bedridden and on my death bed fighting for my life. I didn't mind anyone wanting to talk about only baby because I was so excited. Now I'm a mom and talk about my kids, a lot, but so do other moms and the older women in my family. Everyone always wants to talk kids and family so it's pretty normal. With this pregnancy I'm doing better than my other pregnancies so far, but I'm still made to sit down and take it easy. I helped an elder family member move today and all of the men sent me inside into the AC and fussed at me any time I touched anything because I'm pregnant. I'm only 7 weeks, but my FIL was chasing after me and lovingly fussing at me that things were over 5 lbs even though my oldest is 26 lbs. Pregnancy can be isolating and can make you feel like everything is about baby, but honestly it's kind of preperation for when baby is here. No one asks about the parents, it's all about the kids. Even when I go visit my parents I have to wait until the kids are settled down with a snack before I even get a hug or a hi from my mom.

Tbh I can't relate with this lol, because I was thrilled anytime someone wanted to talk about the baby XD that being said, I did feel lonely in different ways, like when I wasn't feeling well enough to keep up with everything going on, or not being abke to drink when everyone else was. There is nothing wrong with how you're feeling though! You are still an individual <3 can you find a time to talk to your fiance when he is not falling asleep? My husband will not remember the things I tell him if he is too tired, so I need to make sure to address things before bedtime

So talk to him outside of bed about how youre feeling. Everyone does become obsessed.with you growing a little human in you. Dont lose yourself though. Allow yourself to still do.things you love and talk about you. Lets say they ask hows pregnancy growing say im grateful but i feel xyz. Talk about your feelings theyre valid.
