4 big bags of clothes I was going to donate got rained on

Super annoyed because my husband told me he’d put the bags into his car and take them to the Salvation Army or a thrift store and instead he left them out for 2 days and we had insane downpour rain storms last night. He thinks we can still bring the clothes to the thrift store but I don’t really think so.. should I wash everything? It’s like 8 loads of laundry. Or just throw the stuff out? 😭
