Everyone is different and react to IUD's, Nexplanon, pills differently. I work in an OBGYN office and I always hear the providers tell patients to give the device 6 months before deciding on removal because thats how long it could take for your body to adjust to the medication. Personallyi went with the Nexplanon and spotted for 18days starting the day after insertion then nothing for 1.5yrs then spotting again for nearly 3months before it stopped again.
