Positive test then negative

I took two pregancy tests yesterday that were positive. Shortly after I started spotting. Later on that night the bleeding got heavier. This is when I took the second test that was also positive. I got up this morning and took more tests but those unfortunately were negative. I wasn’t able to get an appointment until the Friday after this upcoming one and didn’t know if I should try to be seen sooner. Has this happened to anyone and everything was still okay?
