PSA: Had house air quality checked and CO2 off the charts
Our house is newer and sealed well, so that means higher CO2 (carbon dioxide) if we don’t have proper ventilation. Over 1000 ppm can affect cognitive function, our bedroom was at 1800. Scary stuff! We are getting a “Make Up” air installed that pulls fresh air into out furnace, plus opening windows at night and morning.
I highly recommend investing in a C02 monitor. You want to pay for quality, so we got the Aranet4 on Amazon. My husband bought a cheaper one and it doesn’t work as well at all. Anyway, another thing to think about!
