Babygirl has arrived 08/16 💕 Long birth story .

Wow you guys my labor is truly one for the books. I’ve never experienced such a fast labor in my life, both my eldest I had to endure more the 10 hours in labor but for my little mamas i was in & she was out in 5 hours.

So here is how it went, i was currently 39 weeks 5 days & my due date is/was August 17th. I went to a doctors appointment for regular check up and have been super angry at my doctor about my induction date being at 41 weeks because my partner was a 10lb baby and I just knew baby girl was going to be huge. I had concerns of complications because I’m 5’0, 172 lbs and I just felt it in my heart something was going to go wrong. On top of not eating, feeling weak and my body just slowly giving up on me I expressed this one more time to my doctor so she said in order to get your induction date changed we can try and get you a STAT ultrasound to measure her weight. I said okay let’s do it it’s worth the try. I called the hospital I was giving birth in and luckily they had an opening for a ultrasound that same day so I went. The ultrasound tech confirmed little mamas was almost 10lbs, but not only was she big I had lost almost all my fluids I was at 2.5 cm so they sent me to L&D & they kept me for induction. Now the fun part, I was already 4cm dilated when I went into L&D so they started me in pitocin at 9pm. Contractions started getting super wild asked for epidural by 12:30-1am. Nurse tells me once your fully numb we will add your catheter and I’ll check your cervix I said okay no problem. When she checked me my jaw dropped when she told me I was already 8cm I WAS LIKE YOUR LYINGGGG ! She said nope even she couldn’t believe it. She told me I’ll keep checking your cervix and I’ll up your pitocin I said cool. 20 mins later I was at 9cm 1/2 poor thing was scared to leave me she thought I was going give birth right then and there lmaoo. We practiced some pushing, she told me I pushed sooo well that she was going to get the doctor and get everything set up for her arrival. Doc came in we did about 2 big pushes 4 small pushes and she came right away. Everything went so fast I was in’s such complete shock I couldn’t even understand what was happening lols.

To our wonderful surprise babygirl made her grand entrance at 2:07am only weighing 7lbs 10oz. The measurements were completely off but I didn’t care I was just grateful she was safe and sound in my arms.
