Hi, I confirmed Monday I had a miscarriage I was supposed to be 9 weeks but baby’s heartbeat stopped a few days after my 6 week appointment. I passed this on Tuesday, am I to expect anything else or is this it? After I passed this I have bled like a period… I just don’t know what to expect, I am so sorry for anyone else going through this.

I had a missed miscarriage at 9 wks baby stopped growing at 6 wks. I bled for 2 weeks. The worst of it being a few days after the bleeding started. I was losing really big clots. I was concerned because how would I know which was baby? OB said since baby passed at 6 wks they'd be no bigger than a grain of rice. You'd never find the clot they came out in. Just take it as it comes. For 2 days I was passing fist size clots, bleeding quite heavily. Heartbroken that I wouldn't know which one my baby would be in. It's just all uterine lining and everything else is mixed in somewhere. That said it's different for everyone who goes though it. You may only pass a few clots. You may pass a lot. They may be small, big, they should have told you what to watch for. Though it kept changing for me. First it was if you bleed through an overnight pad in 2 hrs or less. But as I'm standing in a bloody puddle with blood dripping down my legs and splashing on the walls, it changed again. That was fine, just don't take a shower because you're at higher risk for passing out. So I had to clean myself up as best I could with baby wipes. But they should have gave you basic this is what to watch for and when to call guidelines.

That looks like that was the baby. You likely will continue bleeding like a heavy period for awhile with some tissue still coming out. Could be 1-2 weeks more bleeding. You got the main pregnancy tissue out tho looks like. It’s always 2 weeks of bleeding for me then spotting for another week or so. I’m so sorry you’re going through this and I hope your body heals up soon ❤️ time will help you heal
