Are chemical pregnancies painful?

Also are they like a normal period or would you see more than your usual?

I had two chemicals and honestly if it wasn’t for me testing early I would have thought my period was 1 day late both times. The bleeding was exactly the same as the period. Chemical is when the egg attaches to the uterine wall but either has bad chromosomes where it won’t burrow or the egg has a hard time implanting into the wall and instead just gets released from the body.

I think it depends on the person. My chemical was less painful and less bleeding then a normal period for me. But I’ve always had heavy flow and painful cramps so I’m not sure that would be accurate for everyone.
