"She's only 11" "5th graders are learning"

Karen mother: Well I don't understand why my daughter is being suspended

Me, a principal at an elementary school: Ma'am. Your daughter hit another child's service dog in the face with a textbook

Mother: She's only 11. 5th graders are learning

Me: We expected 11 year olds to know not to harm animals here

Mother: Well just take away her recess for a few days

Me: Well if it was up to me she would never have recess again the rest of the year(I didn't actually say that) I'm sorry. She's being suspended

Mother: Well I think it's disgusting and unsanitary to have a dog in the classroom.

Me: I'm sorry ma'am. It's a service dog. It's the law

Mother : *Argues with me for 20 more minutes on how gross dogs are and that people with disabilities are treated better than "normal" kids*
