“Period” on Mirena

Hello,

I’ve been on my IUD for about 2 and a half years and experienced minor to little bleeding for the larger portion but have recently been experiencing my normal period flow + length of time.

I’m just curious if anyone else has experienced this? Wondering if it’s common or something I should bring up to my doctor. Thank you for sharing!

P.S everything seems normal i.e string placement just wondering why I feel as though I’m experiencing more then breakthrough bleeding
