Breaking up with long term BF(his personal issues/ Hygiene issues)

Hi,

Things have been tough between my BF and I. I’m in my late 20s and him in his early 30s.

I have a kiddo (5 yrs old) from a prior relationship and I’m a true single mom( other side is not involved at all/ no payments) .

I work full time and support myself/kiddo 1000000%. I don’t receive any help from my mom with my kiddo.

Life has been hard, I love being a mom, and love spending time with my kiddo.

Anyways, my BF has a lot of issues and I’m done with it. He doesn’t do anything to help himself. His hygiene has gotten so much worse. We DONT live together anymore.

But the lack of hygiene has been so bad….I want to break up because he is a parents boy/ I think he wants to be treated like a kid. I feel like he is just looking for someone to take care of him. Like I said he has a lot of issues and it’s too much.

He wanted to have sex yesterday and I was just so turns off. He asked why as we didn’t see each other for a month. I said because you can’t wash yourself property and you have OBVIOUSLY a fungal/ rash (bottom). I told him to Go to a doctor or pick up some meds. He’s lack of hygiene is a reflection on his mental health. I feel bad but comon…

He got really angry and we left off on a bad note. I can’t help him and can’t be his mommy . I have other responsibilities. He doesn’t see it that way. He says he does a lot for me, which is untrue. He refuses to take a weekend day off for us. And expects me to take off work. I can’t, but he absolutely can. He’s always there for other people but not me. F that.

He said I should just give him head and we should have sex anyways which is true and I agree. I said no. And to just leave and he called me selfish..

I guess I’m just over it. Is it selfish that I want to end the relationship??
