Going on a boat at 11 weeks pregnant

Hello!

So before I knew I was pregnant I had made and paid for a girls boat day. It’s a decently sized boat/yacht, and the plan is to spend the afternoon/evening on it.

My question is has anyone gone on boat rides while pregnant? It’s meant to be cruising, not like a jet boat or anything racing on the water.

I asked my doctors office and they told me as long as I wasn’t on a tiny boat on choppy waters I should be fine and to enjoy my day. My mother won’t stop telling me I shouldn’t get on any boat while pregnant and she’s got me doubting life lol.

It would be nice to know about other mamas who maybe have experience with this.
