At home things to do with a 2 year old?

He already enjoys helping cook, clean and handy work around the house (he has SAFELY helped me build a chest of drawers, bedside tables and a shoerack lol) We do have a lot of time outside (its getting expensive) and we do play with his toys and do arts and crafts but he gets easily bored and frustrated of the same things. I dont mind spending a little to get a few bits but any ideas what i can do at home with my 2 year old and 1 year old to enlighten them more please???
