Mucus Plug??

Currently 9 weeks and 1 day pregnant. My husband and I have had sex the past two nights. I have been constipated and was able to use the bathroom this evening. When I wiped this is what was on the toilet paper. Could this be semen from having sex a lot recently, or is this the mucus plug??

I am on progesterone suppositories and it kind of makes my discharge light brown/yellow. I’ve noticed in the past my husbands semen being yellow too when it was leak out a little the next day (sorry tmi).

If this is my mucus plug, what do I do? I am freaking out.

It doesn’t matter if it was your mucus plug. It would regenerate. Unless it’s bloody (bright) there’s nothing to be concerned about.

You should be good girl. If it was a plug, as mentioned it will regenerate. If your really worried put a call into the nurse but most likely if there was something wrong (pretty sure your good) there wouldn’t be anything they could do at this point anyway. Honestly though, you are okay, you got this.

No, there is nothing to be concerned about here. Losing mucus or large amounts of discharge are no cause for concern at all.

Should I go to the doctor just in case? I am so worried I will lose my baby. I had a cyst on my endometrium at week 5 and my right side is hurting slightly where the cyst was before. But I also don’t know if it’s from not being able to use the bathroom. I don’t know what to do and I really don’t want to go to the ER if I don’t have to

you should definitely take a little bit off sex. let your body clean itself and get rid of any germs from your man.

I don’t think it’s necessary but whatever makes you feel better!

Some people lose the mucous plug throughout their whole pregnancy a little by little some people lose it in the early stages but it grows back. Don’t worry you’re fine.
