Growth spurt?

Baby is two weeks old today. Been fairly good with feeding every few hours but last two days been unsettled and feeding every hour sometimes more! Having big effect on my sleep as u can imagine ( breastfeeding only from breast at the moment) I'm feeding her now 4am she hasn't slept properly since about 9pm 😕🍼 could it just be a one off ? It's so hard to cope with. Got my husband here too he's helping but we are both shattered stressed and emotional ! X

Unfortunately, this is completely normal. Babys have growth spurts from 7-10days old, 2weeks, 3weeks, 4-6weeks old and then again in a few months. It's tough, but but let baby nurse for as often and as long as baby wants. The first 6weeks, baby is really helping build your milk supply.

My lo was is cluster feeding through her growth spurt. She is 4 weeks old and i let her eat until she falls asleep. Then burp her gently and give her the other breast and eat until she falls asleep again.

Probably.. My guy is 4 weeks and we're two days into a growth spurt. Constantly at the breast. He's had several shorter spurts.. I believe there's one at 10-14 days. His early ones were just one bad night. Hang in there!

My boy is 4 weeks and up to this point he eats every 2-4 hours, which is normal. I wouldn't expect your baby to sleep more than 3-4 hours at a time until he's about 4-6 months old. Also, try pumping into a bottle and letting your husband feed him for 1 of the nighttime feedings to give you some extra shut eye and during the day sleep when your baby sleeps. I pump at least 5-6 oz of milk into a bottle (D. Brown is best) each day and refrigerate it. I usually have at least 1 bottle in the fridge every day available just in case.  Plus it's always nice to see exactly how much milk your baby needs to be satisfied.

That's how my lo was last week (at 2 weeks). I've heard the growth spurts come and go up until 6 weeks, then at 3 months and so on. Currently cluster feeding right now, so in with you haha.
