is this a reg flag?

So i’ve been dating my boyfriend for a little over a year now. he is very sweet, checks off a lot of boxes. he’s such a busy man BUT he always priorities me talks to me everyday and makes sure i’m ok we spend time together out of his busy schedule. but heres the thing we had a baby pretty early on (wasn’t planned) she is 5 months old. he did admit he does feel deeply about me. but he has serious trust issues from his past relationship and I don’t want to deal with that.. he definitely is trying to work on it though I can admit that. he doesn’t question me a lot but he did ask to see my phone one time and I refused because for what.. nothing was in it I just don’t like people going through my phone.. he sent me a video that said he has love scars and he’s shielding his heart so he won’t get hurt again. it did say “I might love you more than I loved the last person so I don’t want to begin to even feel that pain” in the video and I told him I think he feels way more about me than he is saying and I asked him to open up to me i’ll create a safe space for him and I won’t hurt him and he said “it’ll come one day” like he just doesn’t want to tell me how he feels about me just “I like you a lot” and he shows deep interest it’s just him not being able to express it to me which I love reassurance so I won’t feel like the relationship is one sided.. is this a red flag? or do I just need to be patient with him? I suggested he go heal bc it could totally ruin what we have that he has trust issues.. i’ve been hurt with my last relationship it completely broke me I lost myself but I had to get back up and keep going bc life doesn’t stop. I realized maybe since our relationship moved a bit quick with our daughter that it just needs time i’m not sure..
