Anyone had or have a baby with hip dysplasia?

Anyone had or have a baby with hip dysplasia? My son was frank breech until about 38 weeks, when he flipped on his own terms. As protocol my PCP does an ultrasound at 4 weeks to check for hip dysplasia for baby's that are breech. Well according to the tech, he does have it. I was told someone would call us and he may be put in a brace. Any advice or how things went would be appreciated. If your older child had past hip dysplasia did they walk/crawl late? Was it difficult for them to sleep, any other things you can think of for insight would be great 🙏
