Are these new Walmart tests valid at all??

I took the Walmart test tonight, the day before my expected period. I took the first response test three days ago, also in the evening. Walmart looks totally negative, I can't even squint to see anything. With my last pregnancy two years ago, the Walmart test showed a positive before any other test. What's going on here?

I just tested with these new Walmart tests and mine looks similar to yours I believe. I used to love them and now I’m not sure. Wondering if I should try an FRER now.
