Anyone got their tubes removed after birth?

Hi I'm due with our second and final baby in March. Has anyone gotten their tubes removed after birth?. I've been debating on getting it done because we don't want anymore kids since we'll have our boy and girl. My husband's going to get a vasectomy but I want to get fixed also to make sure we won't have anymore.

Cause there's always that little bitty chance it can happen.

If anyone has what was the after care like? and do you regret your decision? I've heard some people has. I'm scared to just get my tubes tied because of the risk of a pregnancy in the tied tubes.
