One of the dumbest things I've ever heard a parent say

This happened a few months ago but I work at a daycare and we had a 4 year old with lice. We told the mom and I gave her a recommendation of products to get the lice out of her hair. The mom said that's animal cruelty.... And that she teaches her daughter to respect animals and they aren't going to kill them. I said "So you're just gonna let her have lice in her hair." Mom goes "Well humans have had bugs in their hair since we have been around. Who are they hurting."

"okay. On my way to go call CPS."(Don't come for me. Legally mandated reporter and that is neglect).

It's just a random memory that popped into my head. And see I'm vegan. I hate animal cruelty but best believe if I have lice, I'm killing them.
