He can do it better
It was been a rough week. I’ve been in bed with the stomach flu this past week. Literally bedridden. My poor husband has taking care of our daughter. He works from home. No matter how much I protested he told me to stay in bed.
Today I was finally well enough to get out the of bed. He was telling me how our daughter has woken up once each night for the past week. I told him I was so sorry because I know how tough it is to get up in the night and then do stuff during the day. I felt so bad. He told me it was fine. “If I didn’t work it would so be easy!” I joked and said back to him “but it can be hard too” and he said “nah it been a piece of cake.” I guess when she would wake up he would just let her yell for a while and then get her. “The crying it out is not that hard. It’s you women that make hard more difficult then it needs to be.” I looked at him and he said “you’re no fun”.
So if he was a SAHD it would be a piece of cake. Well the house is a wreck today. Toys everywhere. Snacks everywhere. Stuff needs to be cleaned up. Being a SAHM would be the easiest thing on the planet if I just had to sit on a couch all day and literally done nothing around the house either.
