Lupron injection for uterine fibroids!

Hi friends!

If anyone here has been on Lupron, I’d love some feedback about periods and ovulation. As I’m currently over a week late for my period (in a LDR - last intercourse was September 3rd and did take Plan B that day due to a broken condom).

So long story short I have a ginormous uterine fibroid that is being surgically removed in November, in the mean time my Dr has put me on Lupron 3 month injectable. I got my first dose August 1st and had my period as normal (has been very consistent since coming off birth control in February due to complications with both the mini and the combined pill). Then I got my period in September which was shorter than my normal period - usually 5-6 days, this one was only 4 days.

I currently have not gotten my period this month - was due October 9. I had slight back cramping last week but nothing since, no tender breasts or any of my normal symptoms prior to getting my period.

Does anyone know if being on Lupron has any effect on periods and ovulation? I feel like I am reading a lot of mixed information on the internet and looking for any advice others may have to offer. I guess I am wondering, is it normal to not get a period while on Lupron or miss a period?

Someone if you can, please ease my worried little brain - I’m slightly worried about what could be going on.
