Mucus plug

Can you lose your mucus plug without it being bloody I just had stringy jelly like discharge come out and I’ve been having slight cramping all day I don’t know if it was my mucus plug cause everyone says it will be a bloody show is this always true? My pants also felt quite wet when it happened not like so wet you could feel it through them but I could feel it on the inside of them
