Has your baby ever looked at the sun?

I know I posted about this yesterday but I’m curious to know if your baby has ever looked at the sun. Could be when pushing them in the stroller outside, riding in the car, carrying them in the car seat, holding them over your shoulder, sitting by a window where you could see the sun….

Of course. Everyone looks at the sun. On a regular basis. Glancing at the sun for a few seconds, periodically, isn’t a health concern. Your child looked at the sun, filtered through a window, for 5 seconds. That is not a health risk.

Many times. They're just fine. It's pretty normal for kids to look at the sun and try to figue out what it is.

Obviously. Who doesn’t? Especially curious kids who don’t understand yet. 
If they sat there staring for an hour, ya, that could be an issue. And infant glancing, will not. It’s so bright their instinct is to close their eyes or look away. 
Take a deep breath. If these intrusive thoughts continue, talk to your doctor to watch for PPA.
