Feibrile seizures and getting sick often?

How many febrile seizures is too many? I lost count on how many my child has had, he’s 3 years old has been having them since 2021 after COVID we have been getting sick often almost every other month every time they go back to school so that’s when my son gets the febrile seizures along with fevers.

I did see a neurologist and he recommended to stay away from medication because my son will grow out of it and to just give him Tylenol and Motrin whenever we get sick but his doctor wants us to see another neurologist because she says he needs to be on medication since she doesn’t think it’s because of the fever but that’s the only time he gets the seizures and she also told me that whenever he’s having one he’s losing oxygen in the brain and brain cells 😭 so I’m going to get a second opinion but I was wondering any mommies here have a child with febrile seizures that get sick often? How many seizures have they had?
