Baby getting used to "Arms"...?

Question

Okay so my baby girl always wants to be in arms... I don't have a problem with it or even co sleeping. My SO and family members keep saying I should lay her down in her cradle and not pick her up unless she's crying. I just have things I need to get done and need both my hands for. My first born is now 5 and slept really well on his own but my DD has trouble staying asleep. But I'm all ears or opinion or suggestion because my arms hurt, I need a shower, and the dishes are piling up etc. How do you co-sleeping mommys and mommys with other children get things done? 
I don't have a baby wrap or carrier or a swing. What works???

I use the moby wrap its great my baby is 3 1/2 weeks he is snug as a bug in it . I did have to watch videos a few times to figure it out :)

Maybe try swaddling her before you put her down to sleep. That's usually helps keep them asleep.

I cosleep, but my wee one is OK being left once asleep. Blogs say to use a sling.

I have a Tula carrier, but haven't used it yet. I'm thinking about getting the Baby K'Tan.

I have a 5 yo daughter and my newest daughter is 3 weeks old. I lay her down in get bouncer or bassinet if I need to get things done around the house. She's pretty good about just chillin by herself for short periods of time. If she gets fussy I put her in my ergo carrier.

I'm planning to use the baby k'tan- still pregnant, so I can't personally vouch for it yet. But I got the lillebaby too as a soft structured carrier that should work from day one without an insert. I joined a baby wearing fb group and it looks like ring slings could also work well. I'm looking forward to also being able to nurse hands free. My sister did that with the ergo, and loved it. You can walk around in public and be completely covered

I have the ergo and love it! I have a 15 month old so am busy but like wearing the little one so we get to cuddle and she feels safe
