Hemorrhoids

I’ve had a hemorrhoid for about a year or so now on and off. I got over the counter cream and it went away but keeps coming back. I’m in college and am constantly sitting in computer chairs and this flair up has been the worse. It is huge and is burning/hurting and today (first time ever) I had a little blood in my underwear. Any recommendations on how to make things better?

Edit: just to mention im getting them mostly because im overweight
