Tmi but is this a period or spotting clotty

Hi I’ve recently gotten on birth control. ( arm implant). I’m not sure if this is my cycle concerning this is my 6 th day of this Smells like period blood but. Not the right uh texture like it’s sticky very sticky. But thick. In a way and sometimes it’s watery tmi but would I count this has a period or not ? I’ve recently just gotten on birth control so I don’t even know what spotting is . Norm my cycle is super heavy like very . And I have beginning of endometriosis. So I don’t know if it can effect this pet
