Is this a “situationship”? Or am I just ✨delulu✨ since I still like him?

I’m sleeping with this guy that I used to have a thing with. Everyone (including me) is confused by what the title is. We’re supposed to be friends with benefits but some behaviors definitely lean out of just that. These are what the behaviors that confuse me are:

*He gets jealous of all my friends

*Is possessive of me

*He gets upset if he feels like I’m “hiding my phone” from him

*He’ll ask me about who I’m texting

*Doesn’t want me to date other people. Said it’ll “get too messy and he doesn’t want to be stuck in the cross fire if they find out I was fucking him” - even tho he was fine with it before

*He wants consistent, clear communication

*He calls me a flirty nickname

*He offered for me to stay at his house so we could drink and said we could cuddle

* Sometimes he’ll say we’re “kinda like that”, but other times, he resorts back to reminding me that we’re “just sex”.

So maybe I’m just breaking my own heart.
