Feeling pregnant, but home pregnancy test negative

am 43, and trying to have a second child for 6 years now, and at the beginning of September I thought I had really come to terms with giving up. Enough is enough.. but then the last time I had a period was in the end on September, the following month in October I didn't get a period and a pregnancy test was negative. Before I tested I was starting to be queasy every day. In November the queasiness disappeared for few weeks when I had a the flu, but now its back and no period still. Did another test and its negative. Now, about 5 days ago my breasts got sore, before they weren't. Oh, and I have been tired, so tired. At some point I thought ok, no period. Maybe its menopause..

Has anyone gone through something like this and ended up pregnant?
