My son has traits I’ve never seen before

I know the title seems dramatic but it’s true that some of my 3 years old son’s characteristics truly worry me. Physically he’s fine, he plays well, fine motor skills/gross motor skills are great. However some traits of him have me so worrying about his future. To name them:

- a strong fear of other people he’s unfamiliar with, if they so much smile or say hello he hides behind me, often cries

- phobia of water, specifically on his head (bath time is a very stressful time and he cries bloody murder every single time)

- must cut off loose fibers from shoes, shirts, pants

- has tantrums for the tiniest thing (for example today I went to the outside fridge without him) and he screams and cries up to 20 mins

- overall inability to regulate emotions

These traits have me worried and I’m trying to get funding for therapies for him. I guess I’m wondering if anyone else has children like him as I’ve never met a child with these qualities at this level. I’m genuinely so worried about how things will be as he gets older. I’m sending him to childcare in Jan which I pray will help him.
