1 day period????

Hi everyone, my period started late night at December, very light. 2nd December got heavier, filled 2 tampons. Morning of the 3rd no blood through the night. It literally lasted 24 hours and only filled 2 tampons. I took a test 3rd December negative, Has this happened to anyone before? I’m so confused, normally bleed for 3-4 days ????
