I live in NC and they’re asking $1,300  a  month for 3 days a week. Full time care is $1,800. I don’t qualify for any kind of assistance and I make less than 65k annually.

Here its set by the goverment thats its maximum $275 a month for 1 child. Child 2 is around $180, child 3 or more  is free.

For a 4yr old and school ager. During the school yr it’s $240 per week resulting in $960 a month. Plus a couple extra days for no school which is $20 tacked on.
During the summer it’s full time for both being $300 a week resulting in $1200 a month.
