Period? Or pregnant ?

So me and my boyfriend are trying to have a baby and we have been trying for a month. I do have irregular periods so i dont know when I ovulate but we have had sex frequently throughout   the month. I didn't have a period in September and the. We had sex lastnight and I woke up this morning and was bleeding. Is it my period or am I pregnant or what's happening ??
