Would this bother you?

I’m 27 weeks pregnant and my partner is out today with his friends. He’s out playing golf, going for food then the bar for some drinks. He went out at 11:30am and it’s now 10pm.
 I texted him at 4pm saying I hope he was having a good day but he’s not even looked at his phone.
 I don’t expect my partner to text me when he’s out with his friends as that’s his time with them. But being pregnant, I just expect more as I could urgently need him? Am I being selfish for thinking he should text me? Not constant but just checking in.

My partner and I expect each other to check in from time to time. We both want to know that each other are okay. Calmly talk to him about your expectations and how it feels when he doesn't meet them. "When you don't text me or anything the whole day it makes me feel like you don't care about my well-being and I fear you won't be accessible in an emergency." Then let him think about what you said. Hopefully he has sense enough to consider your feelings.

He should have his phone accessible so if something comes up he knows, but I don’t blame him for not being on his phone. My husband and I have 3 kids & when he goes out he sucks at getting back to me. But he leaves his phone on loud so if I were to call he would know

I’m sorry but I’d be upset about it . I wouldn’t expect full blown conversations. Just a text every few hours.
My partner works at a prison. The prison very strict about phones so he can only text me if he goes out to his car on breaks. He will literally go to his car and send me a text and go back inside.
If he’s gotta work late and it’s not lockdown he will run out to the car to send me a text letting me know he’s staying late.
It’s the little things that matters

I'd be slightly annoyed but if there wasn't a pattern of this I'd just let it go. Completely different if he's regularly going out and mia.

I’m not even pregnant and I would be pissed if my partner did that to me. At this point I would tell him not even to come home, assuming y’all live together.
