Birth control and periods

Hi all!

I have been on birth control for a hot minute. I usually get my period on the Thursday i start my brown pills (start them Sunday). I still haven’t got my period. I took a pregnancy test in the afternoon on Sunday and it was negative. I have period symptoms, the cramps and back pain but no bleeding. My husband and I don’t use condoms anymore and haven’t for years. I never miss a pill and I’m consistent and take them around the same time every night. This is a first for me to not have bleeding. Is that possible? To just not have the bleeding symptom while on BC?
