Evening Primrose Oil or Robitussin?

Has anyone tried any of these while TTC? I ovulate but don't have much CM. These are supposed to help. Just wondering if anyone has had success with either of these?

I took epo for ages to help w pms. I was told to take it from AF day 1 to ovulation, that taking it after ovulation cld cause the cervix to contract and mc. But I'm not a naturopath and I can't remember where I heard that. I stopped taking it a couple of months ago and got pg last month...?

Robitussin I took it on my fertile days was good cap of that and big glass of water lots of cm ☺️ And I'd only do it few hours before we would bed didn't  have to worry about temping to make sure I stopped after ovulation like I did with evening primrose oil
