Potentially might be sick. How do I handle this?

Tonight my voice started sounding hoarse but no sore throat. My fiancé asked 2-3x if I had a sore throat after he caught me drinking hot lemon water(I hate tea but wanted something warm that wasn’t hot water) I fell asleep on the couch and just woke up to it starting to hurt a tiny bit. 
We’re at his moms where everyone is staying until after new years, his sibling is a hypochondriac(their words) and his grandparents are supposed to come for new years. Idk what to do. He’s 100% going to think I lied to him and I feel bad because It’ll also cause everyone to not be able to come/his siblings go home.

How much else do you keep under wraps in fear of his reaction? 
You tell him as it is. Throat felt a bit weird. Took a nap. Now it hurts. If thats an issue then you better run away as fast as possible anyway 😳

Tell your husband whats going on and go from there. Be honest and figure out a plan. If you truly didn't know you were sick it is what it is. People get sick. If you are actually sick is there anyway you can go home solo or a room you can isolate yourself in? There is always some sort of solution but step is to talk to your husband and be honest.

I don’t see how you could be dishonest if you just say your throat started hurting. It sucks but just be honest, that’s the best thing you can do.
