Two periods in one month?

Is it normal to have more than one period in a month? My last period ended about 10-11 days ago and I’ve had some random spotting since then (I’ve never had spotting between periods before either) and now I’m having what I suspect is another period start up tonight with heavier bleeding and symptoms I normally associate with my period (headache, breast soreness, etc).

Is this normal?

I’m not sexually active (I’m sex repulsed asexual), I’m not on any kind of birth control medicine. So I have no clue what is going on.
