period question ?

hi y’all !

so long story short my period has only lasted 3 days n today im basically just spotting, do you think that’s something i should contact my gynecologist about ?

i’m 24 i got my period on my 13th birthday and it’s been consistent since then, comes every month (obviously besides when i was pregnant and didn’t come back until 6 months after birth, but im now 2.5 yrs postpartum), usually it lasts 6-7 days or sometimes longer but it’s never been shorter. i also have a new bf of 3 months so i thought maybe that’d have something to do with it ?
