Do any of you take anything for anxiety?

I have recently been prescribed Valium because there’s a shortage on Xanax so my doctor doesn’t prescribe it anymore. And I am having horrible nightmares, everytime I take it.. that night I will have a very detailed and awful dream that everyone I care about is dead. 
So obviously it’s not working for me, and I just don’t know what my options are.
*I cannot smoke weed. It makes me freak out really bad and believe me, I live in a legal state so I’ve tried every strain and it’s not for me*

I take Buspar 3x a day and I attend therapy every 2 weeks.
I have other coping mechanisms for my anxiety as well.

That’s awful! Definitely talk to your doctor about these side effects, they may be able to recommend other options. If you aren’t currently in therapy, that is also something good to try to manage your anxiety. Hope you find something that works for you.

I don't know if it's sold in the US (assuming you're there) but sedoxil is pretty good. I was on sertraline for s few years, it's similar to Zoloft and it worked super well for my anxiety.

Have you tried klonopin?

Ativan. But its very addictive. I take it less than 10 times a year
