Cruise companion

Ladiesss. I’m in a bit of a predicament, not sure what I should do here.

So my immediate & non immediate family is going on a cruise in 15 DAYS. I have been talking to this guy since November and I have recently established that I cannot date him because I have too many icks I can’t get over and I just don’t have a lovey feeling towards him.

Welllll, my mom has pushed the idea of him coming on the cruise and staying in my room (mainly because she is a worrier and told me she doesn’t want me taken and raped and thrown off the ship🙄). The NIGHT that he met my family (mind you 2-3 beers were involved already) my mom brought up the cruise and how he should go. Of course he wants to go and my people pleasing ass didn’t put up a boundary in that instance to say it’s too soon in the relationship.

I booked everything for him with my card and have yet to tell him the total so he technically isn’t locked in because he hasn’t paid me back. But I will be unable to get my money back for his flight and adding him to the room/upgrades. I even thought about asking a friend to go but I wouldn’t be able to change his name on the boarding pass at this point.

So ladies what would you do? Suck it up for 5 days and make the most of it with a guy you want to stop talking to OR take the losses of $600 and have a guaranteed good time?
