“You look pretty young to be a mother.”

I literally can’t believe the gull of some people but I had to pick up my nieces( toddler age) because their mom got sick and I took them to my moms to watch them but we didn’t have anything to drink but water and no snacks so I ran to the store with them. I put them in the buggie and started shopping.

This older lady was watching me as I went up and down one of the isles and I noticed her STARING so I looked up and made eye contact and smiled thinking “tf is she looking at. Maybe if I acknowledge her she’ll stop.” Um no. She said “you look pretty young to be a mother.” And I said “they’re not my kids they’re my nieces, and no I’m actually 27.”

And she said “oh. Beautiful girls.” And walked off.

Where do you get off lady? Mind your business

I guess you can’t expect much from a small town. Probably someone’s mean ass grandma.

Their mom is younger than me by a few years and if she gets this shit from people I hope she bites their heads off.
