My step daughter is 14 and in the 8th grade. I don't think my husband is a bad father. They have a decent relationship. I just don't like how he spoke to her Friday. Maybe it's because I was in an abusive relationship but it's known a girl will grow up to let a man treat her how her father does and even though this isn't common, I feel he could have handled it differently. We were in the car when one of her teachers called saying she was being disrespectful and cursing at her and when she said she would call her father my step daughter said "Do it! He won't do anything." My husband hung up on her and drove to the school. I followed to calm him down but he went to her classroom, opened the door. Pointed at her and told her to come here and out in the hallway chewed her out where others could hear saying how dare she embarrass him like that and telling her to get her fucking act together and made her go inside and apologize to her teacher and told the teacher in front of the class to call him again if she needs anything. My step daughter was red in the face and mad. I just feel he wouldn't want a man talking to her like that and he could have went about it differently instead of embarrassing her like that
