Is it possible for someone else to be able to claim my child tax credit? Reason why I ask is because for almost 5 years I’ve never been able to claim my kids. Looks like I might be able too this year. But never been able to before. Is it possible that someone else like the kids grandma to be claiming them? Maybe even their dad? And if that’s not possible if the iris seeing I haven’t been collecting an tax credits over the past 5 years does that mean they will make up for those years? Should I speak to a lawyer or something? Lol I’m lost.
